The Carlisle Collection is a collection of fine women's clothing, sold exclusively through a nationwide network of "in-home" Fashion/Sales Consultants. Not available in stores, Carlisle remains the best kept fashion secret worth discovering.

The Company was founded in 1981 by Bill Rondina, a New Yorker, schooled in the grand tradition of ready-to-wear. Rondina began his clothing career as assistant to master tailor Ben Zuckerman. Following this apprenticeship, he honed and applied his fashion skills at the renown Christian Dior New York division of Dior Paris.

Every year, Carlisle presents four seasonal Collections of original clothing and coordinating accessories, including: scarves, belts, and jewelry. Each Collection's color groups are designed to facilitate wardrobe building between groups, seasons and years.

The Collection's styles run from "Updated Classic" to "Fashion Forward", with separates and ensembles for all occasions: from sportswear to cocktail ensembles, from business apparel to holiday wear. Carlisle's own design team interprets the best of worldwide trends, eschewing fad and affect, to create a line that complements the Carlisle customer's needs and lifestyle.

Fabrics are the foundation of the Collection. They are the absolute finest natural fibers, acquired from the most respected European and foreign sources. Only pure Italian and Japanese silks, pure cottons and woolens from England and Scotland, as well as a sumptuous range of blends are used. Light in weight, sublime to the touch, their quality is matched only by their design and construction, with methods faithful to the tradition of old-world patternmaking.

The Carlisle Collection represents a significant value. Though designed to compare in quality and style with fashions found in the finest designer specialty stores, prices are substantially lower, with a Spring suit retailing for $600 to $800 less.

For many, the lure of Carlisle transcends the fashions. Carlisle offers a challenging business opportunity to the right woman; one who is active with family and civic involvements, charities and/or a career. Outgoing and confident, the best candidates mirror the Carlisle customer, who has the highest standards, wonderful taste, yet limited time to shop for herself.

Carlisle Consultants sell by appointment only, from a sample Collection, out of their own well-appointed homes. This allows Consultants to offer uniquely personalized service, and to cultivate ongoing relationships with customers.

Following completion of extensive study at our Training Institute, Consultants are offered a range of sales tools, including workshops, display systems, ongoing industry and style updates, and Corporate advisory facilities; as well as fashion videos, sketchbooks, invitations and brochures for each Collection.

An independent, entrepreneurial spirit is vital. Incomes are directly related to a Consultant's initiative, commitment, and creativity, and average anywhere from $20,000 to over $100,000 per year.

As women of the new millennium seek alternative ways to shop for quality clothing, Carlisle is perfectly positioned to answer their needs, with specialized services that build continuing security and create pride in their wardrobes.

Uniquely integrated in concept and execution Carlisle's approach to its product and its sales is the foundation of its ongoing success.
